PHOTOGRAPHY • SPECTRUM

Many steps are taken before a photo shoot. A session may consist of organizing a team that includes a Hair & Makeup Artist (i.e., HMUA), assistants, videographers, set designers, set builders, site location permits, equipment rental, studio rental, etc. Aside from financial negotiations, contractual terms, and other details, it’s also important for the photographer and model to agree on the type of photoshoot. Aligning expectations is paramount. For this reason, I’ve prepared a Photography Spectrum which includes the current focus of my portfolio:

Glamour • Fashion with sensuality
Lingerie • See-through undergarments
Implied Nude • Naked with private parts covered
Topless • Naked from the waist up
Body Painting • Artistically painted naked body
Boudoir • Lingerie & naked in the bedroom
Fine Art Nude • Fully naked without labia visible

This spectrum is specific to shooting female photography. Definitions may vary by region, and I’ve excluded several categories for simplicity. This at least provides a bit of context to where fine art nude photography fits in the big scheme of things.
