I use the word “perfection” loosely throughout the article, though I define it as reaching ninety-five percent rather than the elusive hundred. This difference matters. Photography is not a search for one universal answer; ten photographers can stand before the same model and discover ten entirely different prime numbers. The challenge, therefore, is not simply to find a single alignment of the planets, but to recognize that other alignments are waiting to be found. Experience has taught me that every misalignment becomes a lesson. Over time, these regrets diminish as lessons that become knowledge.

I have learned to prepare meticulously when I can, but experience has also taught me to walk into an unfamiliar room and work with whatever resources I’m given. The temptation is always to find my comfort zone, yet an alternative prime number is one step to the left, behind me, or somewhere I haven’t yet imagined. That requires me to experiment and let a slight misalignment become part of the story, because those imperfections make us human. In the end, perhaps “Photography’s Infinity” is not about finding every possible prime number. It’s about appreciating the ones I found, and pushing myself to look for one more.
